7-mile canoe race down the Delaware River from Callicoon to Skinner's Falls. Fun for the whole family - classes from local competition to serious racers, from rental canoes to carbon fiber cruisers. Guaranteed the paddles will fly! There will be the awards ceremony at Lander’s Campgrounds at Skinner's Falls following the race. Spectators can watch the race start in Callicoon at 11AM and the watch the finish at Skinner’s Falls around 12 Noon

The Delaware youth center sponsors a children's costume parade down Main Street. Line up 12:45 pm behind the Delaware Free Library and parade begins at 1 pm. Games and treats at the youth center following the parade. All are welcome to participate. For information call 887-5155.
